The Tao of Gethsemane

“For as the body is one, and hath
many members, and all the members
of that one body, being many, are one
body: so also is Christ.”
                    - I Corinthians, 12:12

Christ, in the garden, meditating on His fate,
accepting the redemptive value of suffering,
realizing His Tao is clear, the Way is His and
His alone. True wu wei*!

One body, many souls. And

each soul must find its own
Way, a lesson obfuscated by
Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John,
only to be clarified by Hermann Hesse.

I, novitiate, bow to those whose
Tao is difficult; I bow to the Christ whose
Tao is most difficult: walking
with the Immortals.

Wu wei follows the natural path.
